PP or Polypropylene is a thermoplastic polymer used in a wide variety of applications. It is a white mechanically rugged material with high chemical resistance and its properties are similar to polyethylene but slightly harder and more heat resistant. Polypropylene is the second most widest produced commodity plastic (after polyethylene)
HIPS or High impact Polystyrene is a type of thermoplastic that is obtained by blending standard Styrene and impact improving additives. Like all thermoplastics HIPS can become soft and pliable when heated and re-solidify upon cooling. It is known for its versatility, easy processing and good value. Its lightweight and easy to print on which makes it a great choice for signs and fabrication.
